Dr. Amy Rapp, Ph.D.

I am a clinical psychologist licensed in New York and New Jersey. I received my B.A. from Middlebury College and a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). I completed a postdoctoral research fellowship in the Center for OCD and Related Disorders in the Department of Psychiatry at Columbia University.

I have extensive training and experience in the treatment of anxiety, OCD, and related disorders across the lifespan. I am committed to working collaboratively with my clients to improve their quality of life. I strive to help my clients clarify their goals and learn the skills they need to achieve them.

My clinical work is informed by science, and I aim to translate the newest research findings to my clinical practice to ensure that each treatment session is highly effective. My research on the neural and cognitive underpinnings of anxiety has received grant funding and awards from the Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies, the Association for Psychological Science, the International OCD Foundation, the National Institute of Mental Health, Society of Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology, and Society for a Science of Clinical Psychology. I am also the author of numerous peer-reviewed scientific articles focused on anxiety.
